Since 1987 Fibre Flair has been where Kāpiti knitters and crocheters come for yarn, needles and advice. You will find us on Main Road in Waikanae, an easy trip from Paraparaumu, Raumati, Ōtaki and Paekākāriki.
Our team are expert crafters, so whether you are casting on your first scarf or working out the sizing on a cabled vest, you will get practical help from someone who has done it themselves.

Want to learn, or stuck on a project? We run beginners knitting and beginners crochet classes, a social Knitting Circle, and WIP & FIX sessions where you can bring a work in progress and get help sorting it out. Machine knitting is on the list too.

Where is the wool shop in Waikanae?
Fibre Flair is at 52 Main Road, Waikanae 5036. We are open Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm, and closed on Sundays.
Do you sell New Zealand wool?
Yes. Supporting New Zealand growers, spinners and dyers is a big part of what we do, and we carry yarn from local indie dyers alongside our regular range.
Can you help me fix a mistake in my knitting?
Yes. Bring it in during opening hours, or come along to a WIP & FIX session, and we will help you get back on track.
Can I buy yarn online?
